Responsibilities





    • Manage state licensing applications processes by working with providers to complete paperwork timely in order to meet established deadlines

    • Maintain consistent contact with providers to ensure that expectations are clear and requirements are completed in a timely manner

    • Send a detailed outline of information with step-by-step instructions in order to inform provider how to complete and submit the application

    • Liaise with state medical boards – act as the point person to assist in getting all documents needed from the provider

    • Follow up and create urgency with medical boards by making follow-up calls and sending emails to confirm application status and expected completion

    • Continuously update tracker to communicate application status and expected completionIdentify and recommend process improvement opportunities for productivity, performance, and provider satisfaction

    • Other licensing activities as assigned by the team

    • Part-time 10-15 hours/week (3 month contract)




Qualifications





    • Minimum of 3-5+ years work experience within medical licensing or medical staff credentialing is required

    • Knowledge of state licensing processes and requirements

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask, keen attention to detail and follow-up skills

    • Highly resourceful self-learner, with the ability to operate effectively independently

    • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

    • Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines

    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

    • Willingness to pitch in and assist with other projects and share responsibilities, as needed

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
