The Position:


As a member of the Learning & Enablement team, the Technical Curriculum Developer will work closely with internal teams to develop educational content for customer enablement. This role will also have the opportunity to work on projects focusing on employee learning and development. You will report into the Director of Learning & Enablement. 


 


Location: Remote 


 


The Responsibilities:



  • Apply instructional design methodology (ADDIE, Merrill's First Principles of Instruction, Bloom's Taxonomy)

  • Facilitate needs analysis with subject matter experts to understand goals and needs 

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to finalize course outline and learning objectives

  • Design interactive eLearning content, including: the development of use cases, script writing, and course authoring

  • Develop assessments, both simulation and knowledge based

  • Project manage the course development process including subject matter expert reviews 

  • Conduct peer reviews of other team members and provide actionable feedback to ensure consistency and quality assurance across all content

  • Manage timelines to ensure deliverables meet needs are completed on schedule


 


The Candidate:



  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, computer science, business administration, or an engineering-related field

  •  2+ years of experience in instructional design 

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams 

  • Experience using design methodologies (ADDIE, Merrill's First Principles of Instruction, Bloom's Taxonomy)

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills 

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

  • Experience developing courses for SaaS products

  • Experience with eLearning and video creation software (Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia)

  • Ability to creating video tutorials and presentations using recording software directly via screencast, or via a direct recording

  • Experience with sound and image editing

  • Can translate technology into compelling stories 

  • Can successfully scope projects and estimates time required accurately; consistently meets deadlines and communicates promptly when obstacles arise

  • Experience with LMS management and maintenance

  • Ability to create In Application learning content

  • Outstanding problem solver, innovator, and relationship builder

  • Proficient in Google Suite (Drive, Docs)
