Rovco offers an opportunity to work with a leading technology business that provides services for the subsea renewables industry by carrying out ROV and hydrographic survey projects using the ‘state of the art’ in computer vision, AI and autonomy technologies.
Our R&D department produces one-of-a-kind camera systems coupled with the latest in machine learning techniques. We use this to deploy underwater robots on wind farms where they perform visual surveys and output detailed 3D models.
To keep them connected we have built an Intelligent Data Platform that integrates with our state-of-the-art AI driven camera system and the latest machine learning techniques.
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to be a part our growing web team. You will be facing interesting problems that require skill and creativity. As a team we are passionate about our company’s future and work hard to see the results of our efforts changing our industry. We are small enough that everybody makes a difference but big enough to provide variety of work and strong in-house expertise. We work together and celebrate our successes together.
Requirements
- React + Redux
- Typescript
- HTML5 + CSS3
- Understanding Of Responsive Web Design
- Git
Additional experience (desirable but not essential)
- Jest (or other testing framework)
- Experience at startups
- Geospatial libraries (proj4, Mapbox, Leaflet, Cesium, etc)
- Progressive Web App development
- AWS
- Websockets
- Python
- API Design
