Course Description: POS-500: U.S. and Arizona Constitutions for Teacher Candidates
Candidates examine the United States Constitution, and the constitution of the State of Arizona. From this foundational review, candidates will explore application of the United States Constitution and the constitution of the State of Arizona in educational contexts.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Doctorate in Political Science or Doctorate in Government or Doctorate in Legal Studies or Juris Doctorate with coursework in the US Constitution.
