What do you do all day?


At NMSI, our people mean everything to us, they are the lifeblood of the breports to the Sr. Program Manager, Programmatic Partnerships and serves as the program delivery and logistics lead for school partnerships within a designated region. Program Coordinators work closely with Program Managers to understand the needs of district partners, develop action plans, and offer direct support to schools and districts engaging in NMSI programs.


What are the details?


External Relationship Management



  • Participate in district strategic planning meetings and lead specific portions, as needed;

  • Support district cultivation efforts through communication, data analysis, and direct support to leaders and teachers;

  • Develop and oversee regional processes for onboarding new school and district partners and continuation of service agreements, includes but not limited to:

    • Ensure the submission and accuracy of all required documentation for newly enrolled and continuing schools;

    • Prepare documents for onboarding meetings and schedule meetings with districts;

    • Lead select onboarding and continuation of services meetings as determined by regional team;

    • Secure training dates and locations and communicate to districts during onboarding process;

    • Collaborate with Manager, Contracts Admin & Reporting to develop custom, continuation of services contracts based on partner district needs.




Active Program Management



  • Cultivate strong relationships with current school-based and district partnership leaders;

  • Collaborate with Program Coordinators across the team to ensure alignment, prioritize work, and share responsibility for team-wide needs and initiatives;

  • Develop school-based communication and distribution strategy critical to the implementation of the NMSI program and tailored to individual partners, as needed;

  • Coordinate and manage the collection and reporting of teacher and student engagement data for dissemination to school partners and general reporting purposes;

  • Partner with Finance on strategic planning and execution of honorarium payment, exam fee reimbursement, and course supply processes with school partners;

  • Monitor and inform the day-to-day operations and logistical needs of NMSI program implementation with district and school partners within a region for standard core programming and specialized program/initiatives (e.g. Lone Star CS), including by not limited to:

    • Lead the program communications strategy and implementation for Partner School Directors, leadership team members, and teachers for all event logistical and informational purposes, including but not limited to:

      • Providing rationale and purpose of NMSI partnership with the district;

      • Breaking down the logistical processes necessary to access NMSI programming;

      • Tracking and troubleshooting the NMSI partner experience aligned to programming;

      • Following up with districts and schools to help maximize attendance and program participation



    • Analyze and present student and teacher performance data in each content area to identify areas for targeted intervention and best practice sharing

    • Maintain CRP database with accurate school data and affiliations




Internal Partnership



  • Partner with Finance Team to:

    • Develop and distribute school budgets and agreements each school year for core and custom services;

    • Coordinate and execute the course supply ordering process;

    • Distribute honorarium, student award, and AP exam fee reimbursement payments



  • Partner with Data Analytics & Evaluation Team to create regional-level reports, as needed

  • Partner with Technology to design user-friendly tech solutions for partner districts

  • Partner with Program Delivery & Operations Team to:

    • Collect and distribute training event links and resources;

    • Communicate training dates and district-specific needs;

    • Distribute Facility Agreement when applicable;

    • Report on event registration and attendance.
